The Galerias de Paris Street is one of the most important places of Porto’s nightlife. There are bars and clubs throughout the entire street, but the locals prefer to grab a drink and hang out outside, moving from one place to another. This results in a street full of people, especially on weekends. To really enjoy it, you should arrive around 23:30. Portuguese people start the party late, and the bars will be quite empty if you arrive earlier.

Galeria de Paris Bar and Restaurant
Sharing the same name as its street, Galeria de Paris was once a warehouse selling fabrics. The counters where the products were shown to costumers are now used to serve food, and the shelves behind them are now filled with old objects such as toys, jars, clocks, radios, and others. At night the tables are lighted by candles, which gives them a cozy and intimate ambiance. Galeria de Paris is a good place to start your night at.
