Casa do Infante is the birthplace, in 1394, of Infante D. Henrique, the prince that started the Portuguese worldwide navigations. It consists of a set of buildings that were constructed to establish the Crown Services. Nowadays it contains Porto’s Historical Archive and a museum where you can see some ruins and archeological artefacts allowing you to learn the history of the city.
